About Us

I’m Stephen Shephard, a certified meditation teacher and guide with a passion for helping individuals struggling with addiction and mental health issues.  After years of struggling with addiction and finding traditional recovery methods ineffective, I turned to meditation and found sustained sobriety and a renewed sense of purpose and peace. This led me to found Sensory Sobriety, a business dedicated to helping people achieve mindfulness and peace on their journey to sobriety.

I believe that mindfulness is a critical component of successful recovery and have seen its transformative power firsthand through volunteering at rehabilitation facilities and facilitating meditation meetings. My book, “Sensory Sobriety: Using Mindfulness to Overcome Addiction,” provides a comprehensive guide to using mindfulness in the recovery process.
